OpenStax: Promoting equity and engagement during challenging times

Friday, April 24, 2020

After a remarkable initial effort in the shift to online teaching, educators and students are facing an uncertain future: their institutions may undergo long-term change and face continued disruption. Regardless of delivery method and timeline, they will require strategies and resources to ensure equity, adaptability, and quality in their programs.

As a major provider for thousands of colleges and school districts, OpenStax has a unique perspective regarding instructional needs. In this webinar, we’ll share the requests from our faculty, the approaches of our adopting institutions, and the methods employed by our educational technology partners. Finally, we will discuss the types of educational research opportunities we’re framing to inform the community.
