As students and families are heading online to learn remotely, how are they experiencing this transition and what unique challenges are they facing? It is imperative that we seek out and listen to the voices of our students and families during this unprecedented time.
In this discussion, we’ll focus on gaining a closer look into the experiences of some of our families. While not representative of all families, this conversation will help us gain insight into how we can better support and serve our community.
The panel will include several middle school students as well as family members. The discussion will be moderated by Anthony Nguyen of KIPP Liberation College Preparatory Middle School in KIPP Texas Public Schools, and Jessica Bautista and Barrett Doke of T.H. Rogers in Houston, ISD.
